Macbook Air Keeps crashing "Your computer is scheduled to restart"

Recently installed and then removed a VPN on my MacBook Air and since then, it randomly restarts with a message that quickly pops up - something like "Your computer is scheduled to be rebooted". It happened on 2 separate macbooks! Can't update the OS as it keeps rebooting in the middle of it.

Have tried reinstalling the OS - still happens. Etrecheck has multiple 'kernel panics' (attached)

That Mac is managed through MDM. Your ability to fix it will be limited at best. If you can remove its MDM Profile, remove it. Until you do that, it is not your Mac to control. It belongs to the MDM administrator.

Then, remove any and all non-Apple "anti-virus" products that may have been installed through that MDM Profile. Rule 1 of Macs is don't install junk.

MDM is a system management tool. It is typically used by corporations or educational institutions to control what can be run on devices they own.

Typically someone coming across a used computer, that was under MDM, you will see this as we have in the report. Did you purchase this Mac used? Was it provided to your by your organization or by your university?
