erase iMac

iMac 2011 with Catalina. Control + r results in blank screen, not disk utility or erase.

iMac 27″, macOS 14.1

A 2011 iMac can only run up to 10.13 High Sierra.

Please double check the year model.

Does this iMac startup and run normally..?

If not, then see > If your Mac starts up to a blank screen - Apple Support

If it does, then see > If you can't start up from macOS Recovery - Apple Support
