bad microphone quality with airpods pro 2 on iPhone 15 pro

I don’t have a full fix for you, but I would first check to see something in the apps you’re having the issue in frequently. Try entering a call in the app, and open control center by swiping down from the upper right edge of your screen. On the top right of the menu, you’ll see a button that says “Mic Mode”. Tap that to choose which mode you’re using. It should normally be sure to: Standard. Technically AirPods Pro won’t allow you to use the “Wide Spectrum” Mic Mode, but that does seem like it’d be the cause of an issue like that. Just something to check out. Alternatively, I would test in the apps you’re having the problem in, with certain settings for your AirPods on or off, just to try and see what the issue might be caused by. Changing between Transparency, Adaptive, or Noise Cancellation modes, turning on or off Conversation Boost, Conversation Awareness, or different Spatial Audio settings. That’s all I got. I'm hoping that Apple can shed some light on this as this is an issue that I heard from several people when they got the iPhone 15 that was not an issue prior.
