When I am recording a video, my iPhone 15 pro will randomly stop recording. It seems to stop around the 30 minute mark. I don’t know if it shows a message because I record art demonstrations so the phone is up above my head. I have plenty of available storage, I have turned off ProRes, and it does not get hot.

UPDATE: Issue disappeared after updating iOS 17.4. Updated from mac. My case is been followed by a high level technician from Apple. We did several tests after update and all went 100% ok without stops. I recorded 3 futsal matches after it without interruptions.

My iPhone 15 does the same thing at random times. I have no trust in the ability of my iphone to record when needed for my job.

Thanks for sharing. But I need my iPhone 15 with all its options and supposed performance. It makes no sense buying such and expensive iphone working 75%.

I've finally managed to reach an Apple assistant who has kindly allowed me to send them the footage of the issue. I hope this will help find a solution.
I have the same issue. iPhone 15 pro randomly stops the video when recording. This is very frustrating. I have to record sessions for my job and can’t trust my iPhone to record the whole session.
Same problem. Random video lengths. Some are 12 mins, some are 15, some are 20 something. Very annoying. Didn’t have this problem with my iPhone 12!
