Can’t input password at security screen on reboot

On reboot cursor locked at security screen. Cannot input password

Rapid Security Response login problem: won’t accept previous blank password I had the latest fast response security update made. Now I hit Enter for blank password att the login screen, as before. But nothing happens. Logon icon shakes as if password is wrong. Restarted several times but no luck… what should I do? Once I managed to logon with enter only, then retried, problem still there. Was fiddling around with keyboard language settings to the upper right. But that did not work twice…

Try and use an external mouse and keyboard to see if the issues persist
