Hulu app is not working on my Apple TV

Hulu works on all iOS devices but Not TVOS. What seems to help for a short period is to remove the app and reinstall it. I’ll get 20 min to an hour uninterrupted. Then it will pause and recover 2 to 3 times before finally pausing and not recovering. Wait long enough and you might see the useless, catch all error code that lets you know the app developers don’t care much for error handling.

I tried all these steps before getting to this page. None of them solves the issue. The Hulu app works fine on the iPad, no password issue. Only Apple TV box fails. Even though it’s under a year old, up to date SW, restarted, etc.. Prior to that Hulu app was already very flaky, repeatedly crashing etc. I guess Apple TV just gave up in the end.

I can’t log into Hulu via Apple TV either. It says “we couldn’t log you in. Please check your email and password and try again. Or visit Hulu.com/forgot if you need to reset”

I’m able to access Hulu from any other device with the username and password I’m using on my apple TV

have tried all the "fixes" listed above on phone with both Hulu, blames Apple, and Apple. No Joy, only frustration with apple tv.

Please describe your issue in some detail; what you tried, and what happened instead of the expected behavior.

Then possibly other Hulu users may chime in with their thoughts on the matter.

Removing/re-installing the app used to work for me, but as of today, even that is no longer fruitful in my case.

Same issue. Apple TV box won’t log in. Hulu works on any other device.

This did not work either. I even used that new password to sign in on other devices and it sitll doesn't work on appletv.

Same here. Hulu on AppleTV won’t log in and have tried all the mentioned recovery steps. Logs in fine on all other devices.
