Unable to extend window across three displays on a Mac Mini M2 Pro

Hello,

I have connect three 27" 4k displays to a Mac Mini M2 Pro (32GB RAM), 'seems to work fine except I cannot extend a window across all three displays. The displays are set up as a Main Display and two Extended Displays. I can enlarge a window across the three screens, however the second I release the mouse button, the window truncates to the display where 50% or more of that window is displayed.

On my 24" M1 iMac I have connected a 32" display and it is no problem to extend the window across both displays.

I have created a 48:9 (11,520 x 2160) video with FCPX, works fine on the iMac but not on the Mac Mini M2 Pro.

It seems I missing a (minor) option in the System Settings ... just can't see the forrest for the trees .. any ideas or recommendations ?

Mac mini, macOS 14.1

The fix is pretty simple: System Preferences -> Desktop & Dock -> "Displays have separate Spaces" at the bottom must be disabled. Works like a charm after logging out and back in.

'Not sure why the setting is different from Mac to Mac, I don't remember ever changing it.
