Hi, i had written a book in Contemporary Novel template and it seems that there is no numbering in it. I want it to be like on the first chapter where it the footer has the number 1 as the Page 1 for the novel. I did go to Contemporary Novel - Document Option - Document Setup - Section - (untick match previous section) but still I couldn’t find the numbering, which is also none at the ‘paint’ logo. Can someone help me?

The Contemporary Novel template has its header and footers disabled by default in the Documents panel. After you re-enable these, your header and footer fields will appear in the document ready to receive your page numbering.
Thanks VikingOSX. I did enable all those three buttons of Header, Footer and Document Body. Took me a while to find where is the Page Number will show up but then I just pressed anywhere, which brings me to the very down option, which is ‘More Option’ and there’s this template (as per image) show up. I pressed the very down colum and there it this, the page numbering is show up. Thanks for your help!
Good. I gave instructions for Pages v13.2 on macOS, instead of the iPad…
