Lock apps with Touch ID on iPhone 8 plus

I'm using the Touch ID feature and want lock individual apps on my iPhone. I was told it's possible and can be done in Settings -> Touch ID & Passcode -> Use Touch ID for, then toggle 'Other Apps'. I don't have the 'Other Apps' option on my phone. I'm using the latest iOS version.

Many banking apps can be set to require Touch ID. Enabling that setting will likely be in the banking app itself.

Same goes for social media apps. Some will support using Touch ID to access them. You'll need to check the help for those apps.

Facebook Messenger does have the option: https://www.facebook.com/help/messenger-app/2585155295072006/?cms_platform=iphone-app&helpref=platform_switcher
