interface of my mac os in the mac mini m2 is slow due to the external monitor

The interface of my mac os in the mac mini m2 is slow due to the external monitor. my external monitor supports a frequency of 75 Hertz, but when I select them, my Chrome browser becomes slow and lags, as does the system when playing animations, at a frequency of 60 Hertz the situation is already better, but animations when expanding and minimizing windows work late. I reinstalled my system, updated mac os, also tried another display, booted up in safe mode. What else can I do about it?

I've seen similar problems with other people, they fixed it by pressing command and choosing a resolution, it didn't work for me(

Mac mini, macOS 13.6

HDMI is great for TVs and such, not so great for high res displays.

I would use a USB-C to DisplayPort cable from the Mac mini to the NPC instead of HDMI.

For a bit after a reboot, restart, whatever, I would expect Windowserver to be elevated then drop off cpu% wise.

As for task explorer be able to help, try going through the files list in Activity Monitor. like SubmitDiagInfo for instance to se if we find a big CPU%.

Right now I'm mulling a borked Install or a Hardware issue.

now everything has become smoother, I don't understand what's going on. I turned off my mac mini overnight and everything started working smoother, but still not perfect, I'm still using the old hdmi cable, what happened?

I also noticed that windows server loads my ca by about 15-30 percent, what does this mean? I read that it responds to temperatures, maybe my mac is overheated? But how is this possible?
