Unable to change Logitech controller mapping in MacOS Monterey

Controller: Logitech F310 Cable (Not Bluetooth)

Problem: I need the SELECT Button to use in a Game, but can't re-assign in System Settings that Button and it always kicks me out of the game, starting Launchpad.

Even tho the Game controllers settings got heavily improved in the last macOS iterations, these things I can't seem to find to change within the System Settings.

I found some tweaks on reddit for Bluetooth related ones, but not cable-bound -> https://www.reddit.com/r/macgaming/comments/qi1i6h/playstation_dualsense_controller_home_button

Maybe there is a non-BT parameter in the .PLIST possible too? :)

thx,

Markus
