In Mac mail how do you block blocked senders

I'm still receiving email from blocked senders along with a message saying the email is from a blocked sender. How does one actually block blocked senders?

In Mail, you can choose what to do with these messages, in Mail->Preferences->Junk Mail->Blocked.

It seems that you have set it to keep the message and mark as blocked; change it to move to trash:

Did that early on plus uncheck "Sender of message in in my Previous Recipients" So folks sending junkmail are blocked even if they have already sent an email.

If we understand " "Sender of message in in my Previous Recipients" correctly.

Previous Recipients are e-mail Sender whom you have previous replied to.

Whether they be in your contacts of the Contacts Application or not listed.

That, in and of itself, is basically shooting oneself in the foot.

The moment we reply to a Spammer - that Validates that your e-mail address is active and a working e-mail address.

Exactly what they have wanted to achieve

So, not matter how much precautions and effort is put in to Block the Spammers e-mail address, they will continue to spam your address.

Thank you for the information. It's interesting that the emails are blocked online on iCloud.com and on my iPhone but only appear in the Mac mail app and that the app recognizes them as blocked but does not block them. I'll assume there's no way to access "Web Portal of your e-mail Account Servers Web Portal" on iCloud." If only "rules" worked that would help.

No doubt we wonder how did the Spammer every get our e-mail address ?

Social Media sites are a great vector to Harvest E-Mail address

I was very surprised about my own e-mail address so I used the below link

Low and Behold, some of the Data Breaches came from some Large Software Developers and even from my ISP

The point being, once the e-mail address in in the Wild, we are Open Targets
