Date in Status Bar It looks like the need for the date to display in the status bar has been an issue for many years now. I'm a new switch from Android to Apple. The fact that this issue hasn't been addressed despite years of requests is one in my mounting list of dissatisfactions. Have I missed something somewhere? There's obviously room where the time is displayed.

How do I keep the date and time always shown on the Lock Screen of my iPhone? Is there any way to keep the current date displayed on the Lock Screen (iOS 18.5)? Currently, if my iPhone is sitting on the desk and I tap it, it will show the date briefly, just above the time. After about 3 seconds though, the date disappears and it’s replaced with the text ‘Swipe up to unlock’. Is there any way to keep the date (& time) on the Lock Screen at all times, without it disappearing. Thanks 🙂 [Re-Titled by Moderator]

The trick to seeing the date on the iPhone home screen is to put the Apple calendar icon in the dock at the bottom of the home screen. I personally use Google calendar, but its icon doesn’t show today’s date. By having the Apple calendar in the bottom corner of my home screen, I always know what today’s date is.
