Adding Microsoft docs to iCloud

I recently added MS Office to my MacBook. I prefer to use iCloud to store my docs so that I can see them across multiple computers in the house. MS wants to save everything to their OneDrive platform. How can I change that?

If the File Save dialog in Microsoft looks like the following, click the "On My Mac button.


It will look the screenshot below after clicking On My Mac (or may have looked like that originally). Click a location in the iCloud Drive section. Your Documents folder may also be in the iCloud Drive section if you have turned on the Desktop & Documents option of iCloud Drive.
