Macbook Trackpad Randomly Clicking

My Macbook Pro's trackpad has started randomly firing on its own. I tried putting it in safe mode but that fixes the problem temporarily. I also tried running a diagnostics test to see if it is a hardware issue but it showed that there are no problems which is inaccurate honestly because my touchpad is broken. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.1

You neglect to say what exact Mac is this...

There are 57models of Macbook Pro since 2006 ?

Independent of your diagnostic—

—A swelling battery are known to cause trackpad random firing...

—as well as failing tackpad cable..
