Monterey 12.7.2 Glitch Regarding Unable to Find Desktop and Downloads Folder

So I ran into a lot of issues with the Monterey 12.7.2 update. First, I had issues with downloading the update due to it saying that I didn't have sufficient storage. Then, I found out that there was a phantom Time Clock file which was duplicating the memory. I was able to remove that and update to Monterey 12.7.2. Now that I have updated, I am running into this weird situation where it says that my Desktop and Downloads folder are unable to be found. I tried every solution posted on the Apple Forum, Reddit and another websites, but still no fix. Attaching screenshots. I get error 8072 everytime I try to create a folder on the desktop screen. My trash is unaffected by this. My fix is that I had to make a fake Desktop and Downloads folder in my user folder to hold files. My screenshots need to be manually pulled into a folder immediately otherwise I risk losing them. Not sure what any suggestions regarding this would be unless I would have to wait for another update. Only pro is that my Macbook Air is running faster now after the update.
