Apple TV remote app won’t close

Once started It cannot be terminated. I can swipe up to close the app and it disappears there but stays in island and on Lock Screen.

very very annoying as I can’t use phone’s volume buttons for controlling iPhone. Also very easy to interrupt what is being played on tv.

it needs a way to terminate it.

Since IOS 18 on iPhone, Apple TV remote constantly open on my Home Screen I did the software update and since then my iphone Home Screen won’t show the photo chosen or my data but the Apple TV remote largely open even when I’m not home or not connected to WiFi. I can’t get rid of it. The remote itself doesn’t connect to my TV even if I’m near the tv and trying to connect. Apple TV "Are you sure you want to exit Youtube" issue on B&O smart tv Cannot exit Youtube app and return to home screen on Apple tv. Model A1625 (32GB) when trying to exit YouTube I get the following message "Are you sure you want to exit Youtube?" and a cancel / exit option. Cancel loops back to Youtube. Exit goes to a black screen with no Appletv apps. Power off and on of Apple tv restores apple tv home screen. I have done an on/off, software updates, delete and reload app, full factory reset and software update of Apple tv. Problem remains. Using a B&O remote paired with Apple tv. No problems with any other apps. (Apple remote died and won't recharge.) Is this a YouTube bug?

Apple TV remote The stop/pause “button” on my Apple TV remote is not working on the ESPN app. It works on the MLB app. Do the apps control this feature?
