Can I go back to the previous landscape keyboard format on my iPhone?

What can I do to bring it back to the old way in landscape? Does anyone else who has a seeing issue feel like they should put it back!!

How can I lock iPhone in landscape mode? I would like to lock the screen in horizontal (landscape) position to read some web pages, most documents, and more. Once I hit send this is how it looks and if I reply stays like this. It used to be a wider non split screen and a wider keyboard.
