Did you contact Apple and have your phone reported as stolen? I hope so!

Also, do you have the “Find my” function enabled on your device as well?

Apple doesn't get involved in lost or stolen devices, so there is no reason to report it to Apple. They should however, report it to their carrier and ask the carrier to blacklist the phone.

Hello.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can really do. Thieves rarely keep stuff for themselves and instead sell it to some quick turnaround place or shady pawn shop.

If you have AppleCare+, you can fill out a claim to receive a new phone.

AppleCare+ does not offer replacements. They would have needed to purchase AppleCare+ Theft & Loss to file a lost or stolen claim. And that is only available, if Find My was enabled before the phone was stolen.

Find My is the only way to locate the phone online. Did you enable Find My on the phone....before...the phone was lost?

Even if you enabled Find My on the phone, it will not show up if.....

The battery has run down

The phone has been powered off

The phone does not have an Internet connection

Keep checking a few times each day to see if the status of the phone might change.
