my iPhone 15plus doesn’t not recognize WhatsApp app it indicates unofficial kindly help me guidance on this

Your phone may be compromised or dodgy or simply some background apps are corrupting your phone software

you could have had your phone hacked without u knowing

Hi did you get help ? Am asking cause am going through the same problem . I bought my phone end of November. I had to link it on my old android again to be able to update statuses n all. I tried most of the things mentioned here and more

I recently downloaded WhatsApp on my iPhone 12 and it keeps saying that it’s unofficial and I’m not receiving any confirmation code when I report the matter to WhatsApp they saying to me that I have unofficial application with a link on it and when I use the link to download the official WhatsApp it’s leading me back to the one claiming it’s unofficial, I tried to delete the app and redownload more than 10 times now but still in vain sadly

well mine is now okay , it also used to say it’s unofficial WhatsApp untill i tried to register my WhatsApp with someone elses number then it sent an sms for code then i tried with my number again that was when it sent me the code also . I think my problem was “eSim” maybe my iPhone wasnt recognising that i had a simcard moreover there are some number from my previous network provider that cannot reach to me via calls since i moved from another network provider to a new one .

in all I think the eSim is the problem but not the phone .

Mine started few days ago
