How to get rid of Game Center on my iPad?

Since I updated to iOS 17.2 on my iPad, I am constantly being asked to login to Game Center. I have never used Game Center. How do I make this stop? Thank you.

If you're repeatedly prompted to log in to Game Center on your iPad after updating to iOS 17.2, and you don't use Game Center, you can try a few steps to address this issue:

Method 1: Sign Out of Game Center

Open Settings:
- Go to the Settings app on your iPad.
Scroll Down:
- Scroll down and find "Game Center."
Tap on Your Apple ID:
- Tap on your Apple ID at the top.
Scroll Down and Sign Out:
- Scroll down and tap on "Sign Out."

Method 2: Disable Game Center Notifications

Settings:
- Open the Settings app.
Notifications:
- Scroll down and tap on "Notifications."
Find and Tap on Game Center:
- Scroll through the list and find "Game Center."
Disable Allow Notifications:
- Toggle off "Allow Notifications" for Game Center.

Method 3: Disable iCloud for Game Center

Settings:
- Open the Settings app.
Apple ID Section:
- Tap on your Apple ID at the top.
iCloud:
- Tap on "iCloud."
Game Center:

I have a hunch that deals have been struck with certain game developers. I'm not prompted to sign in to game centre for all games, but every Rovio game does prompt.

Not up there with the stupid mouse that you can't use while it's charging, but still annoying.

Yea. It’s the same on my iPhone. None of the old methods to make the pop-ups stop work. It’s a constant annoyance. Most of the time it covers what I want to see so I always have to dismiss it. Royal pain. Every swipe reminds me to get an android phone next time.

Regrettably this procedure has no effect. The Game Centre sign in request still pops up, at least it does on my device.

That would stop notifications from game Center app itself not from the games you play. So unfortunately, this does not solve the problem entirely. I just want game Center off my phone forever.

YW. Yep the one that pops up as you start your game I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Definitely annoying and I agree with you on Apple not playing nice. Have a blessed one!
