iPhone not working after 17.2.1 update
After updating my iPhone last night to 17.2.1 I can no longer connect to my network provider. Tried the resets and still it does not work!
very frustrating.

Solved my problem after 8 hours of troubleshooting! After the 17.2.1 update, my iPhone 14 Pro Max would not send or receive calls and got hot from accelerated battery drain. First AppleCare walked me through hardware diagnostics, network resets, backups and restores but the problem persisted. Next, Verizon helped me with a new eSIM, but the problem continued. Next, I focused on my company's corporate software, because I was intrigued by the VPN discussion in this forum. While I don't use a VPN, my iPhone is managed by my company's installation of Microsoft InTune, which I noticed (Settings:General:VPN & Device Mgmt) had a signing certificate (IOSProfileSigning.manage.microsoft.us) that had expired December 12, 2023. To test this theory, I removed this Management software and my phone's cellular calls worked perfectly again! So for the final steps, I worked with my company's IT department to reinstall the Management software, which has an updated IOS signing certificate, and the phone is now back to normal. Sharing in case others find my painful tech journey useful.
They aren’t going to fix anything. Same thigh happened to me and Apple said that was a coincidence. Good luck

I’m the same. I’m with 02 and cannot get a signal at all. 02 have said everything is working fine and it might be my phone. I’m glad I’m not the only one.
Thank you all for your helpful posts. IOS 17.2.1 sits waiting to be uploaded which I dare not do. Is there a suggestion as to how I might delete this link and await the next update?
To postpone updating to 17.2.1 Open settings app, then select “general” then select “software update” next select “automatic updates” and toggle off “iOS updates”
Already had done that, however, would this action preclude my receiving a subsequent IOS update?
I updated it and my Wi-Fi and Bluetooth stopped working. Wi-Fi is greyed out and won’t switch on and the Bluetooth just spins. Because of this, my battery just gets drained!!
I have a XR and have no cellular connection since update.
I’m having the same problem. Verizon has changed my card twice and have said it’s an Apple problem. Then apple says it’s a Verizon issue
iOS updates are now in the Chinese category of unreliable. Most people have started facing this in 17.2.1 but I've been facing this since 17.2
Have they fixed this issue? I’m still not able to send or receive text messages to androids!
Two sim cards later and no help from Apple after attempting to speak with someone on the phone. Apple Store is over an hour away and apple website says it’s a carrier issue. I have Verizon
