CRACK ON THE LEFT SIDE TO THE BOTTOM OF MY MACBOOK AIR M2

MacBook Air screen cracking reports during normal use or overnight, without any reason, my MacBook air M2 screen got cracked over night . My mac one year old, it was working perfectly before I went to sleep last night and when I woke up there was a crack on bottom to the left side of the mac, after a few hours when I saw it again the crack became bigger. I closed it properly, I did not damage it In any way, i didn’t touch it whole night. The mac from outside shows no damages on the screen but when switched on screen display shows white black and coloured lines. I noticed the same problem in the same way occurred for so many users and i think its product defect and now i cant even extend my warranty through apple care, Apple should atleast give some discount coupon or should replace such kind of products we pay a lot of amount and apple is delivering such kind of products. The images attached below shows the spread of the crack. I can say with 100% confidence that it has not been physically damaged.

Similar thing happened to me. I gently close and open my laptop. 6 months into owning it, I open the screen and there is a tiny crack on the right side along the edge of the screen, nothing on the keyboard that could have caused it and no drops or impact occurred. It took the whole screen out. Apple says it is not within warranty. This is a manufacturer defect, the screens are too flimsy and will crack over nothing.

It will cost half of the total cost of my Macbook Pro M2 just to fix the screen. This is unfortunate as Apple used to build things to last.
