Chrome and mail authentication problem after mac migration?

Hi, I just upgraded from intel mac 2019 16" to m3 pro macbook 2023. After migration, I can't add google account into Apple Mail and whenever I reset my macbook, the signed in accounts in google chrome and safari automatically signed out. Also, whenever I authenticate my google log in with 2FA, my mac is still referred as intel mac. Is there any solution to this? I am using Mac OS Sonoma 14.2

When I click on it, it says that "google requires completing authentication in your web browser," and it has a button to open safari. When I click the button, it opens Chrome (my default browser), but there is no option available to sign into my account. I have tried manually opening safari, which does prompt me to sign into my account, but even after signing in there I still can't access my account. I've also manually signed in on chrome, but I still can't get in. I've tried turning my laptop on and off again but still no results. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm running macOS Catalina version 10.15.7 if that helps. Thanks!

Can't add Gmail account to mail accounts on MacBook Every time I try to add my Gmail account, I get a message saying 'Google requires completing authentication in your web browser'. When I click 'open browser'but nothing happens. Chrome is my default browser but it doesn't open, and when I open my account there is nothing that helps. Safari doesn't open either. I have turned off authentication in my Google account but it makes no difference. This is a real pain. It used to work! Can anyone help please?

Google Authentication in Internet Accounts I have Monterey (12.4) and have a similar problem to others, namely Gmail accounts not working with Apple Mail.. However, during one of the proposed solutions of deleting and then adding back a Gmail account, I discovered that in System Preferences / Internet Accounts, I can't do that. When I start to add the account by hitting Google, it gives me the "Google requires completing authentication in your web browser" and then when I try to "Open Browser" I get the Authentication Failed message. NOTE that I NEVER GOT to point of specifying an account to be "authenticated", Internet Accounts simply did not work with Google at all.
