should my document folder be only in the icloud folder?
Do I have two copies of my documents, one in the icloud folder and one on my desktop? Which folder should I use to access documents?

When you turn on the Desktop and Documents option of iCloud Drive, your Documents folder is moved to the iCloud Drive section of the Finder sidebar. There is only one copy of the folder.
