Homesharing ... such a bad experience

I decided to transform a mac mini running Monterey into a homesharing media device (all files are locally stored, iTunes xml file is only 20MB).

iPAD 9th Gen : can see the homeshare but you may need to wait 5-10 minutes to load the library, lucky if you can play a song

Iphone 13 : seems ok loading shared library and can airplay to any speaker

ATV 4k : loads library very quickly but the stock AtvOS app can't airplay audio to speakers

MacMini M2 Sonoma: music app can't see the shared library

All loaded with the latest IOS, AtvOS, MacOS.

I regret the 10-15 year old iTunes app which never had an issue sharing libraires over a LAN!
