Will my Australian eSIM in my Apple Watch overrule my USA eSIM I have purchased, or will my Apple Watch just not work in the USA.

I was told once that that my Telstra eSIM in my watch would still be working on my phone (charging me for overseas data and calls which I don’t want) while I had a US esim in my phone with a different number.

So if I have a USA esim while I am away will my watch connect to this number or still be on the Telstra network?

Apple Watch shares its cellular plan with the paired iPhone.

You can select which eSIM is active (or both) with the iPhone, assuming this iPhone is not carrier locked.

Apple Watch models with cellular capabilities require a carrier that supports Watch, or can potentially be operated as a Wi-Fi device without cellular.
