Remove all data from MacBook with black screen

I accidentally spilled water on my MacBook Air M2, now it has black screen and I gonna give it to the reseller. So, I want to remove all of my data from that Mac before shipping to the reseller. What should I do?

There isn't much you can do, unless you were to try connecting an external monitor and even that might not work.

The good news is that all M series Macs perform data encryption in hardware, which cannot be circumvented. It will remain totally inaccessible without your login password. It cannot be retrieved, it cannot be removed, without that password it's completely worthless.
