blurry receiving video quality

When receiving videos sent from another iPhone, the quality is blurry and video size is reduced. So annoying! Please help.

Please ask the sender to take good videos and send them to you. The issue is with their device and not yours.


Ask the sender to check their iMessage settings to ensure that the "Low-Quality Image Mode" or "Low-Quality Video Mode" option is not enabled. These settings can reduce the quality of images and videos to reduce data usage. To check this, ask them to go to Settings > Messages > Low-Quality Image Mode or Low-Quality Video Mode, and make sure they are toggled off.


Ask them to use MailDrop to send these videos. --> If their attachments are too large to send in an email, you are asked if you want to deliver the attachments using Mail Drop or an iCloud Link (if you are attaching files from iCloud Photos; not available in all countries or regions).
