How can I stop syncing iPhone photos and vice versa from eating up ipad storage, but keep the pictures on my iPhone?

I thought I fixed this, but apparently not.

Since I play games on my iPad, I need to keep it linked to my iCloud for payment, I believe.

Woukd it be best to unlink my phone from my iPad? I thought I did that while chatting with Apple, unless it was turned back on during an update?

I want to keep the pictures on my iPhone and remove them from my iPad only.

I want my iPhone to keep syncing to the cloud, but if the 2 are linked, I may not be able to keep that iCloud slider on.

It’s killing my iPad storage. I don’t need my iPhone pictures on my iPad too.

Can anyone please help?

🙏🙏🙏
