iPhone 15 Pro will not allow connection to NHS 111

My old iPhone connected fine but since I have had the iPhone 15 pro I cannot connect to the UKs NHS on 111. This is a free number used by millions in the UK.

I have turned off WiFi calling, data assist, rebooted, my phone is up to date, tried calling the number away from home, created a contact incase I accidentally blocked 111, spoke to 02 all without success.

I can dial other short numbers like 02s “202” and emergency services “999”.

also tried 44 111 even though I am in the uk. It says number not recognised.
