How do I enable IMessages?

To enable iMessages on your iPhone , follow these steps:

1. Open Settings:

Tap the Settings app on your home screen.

2. Go to Messages:

Scroll down and tap Messages.

3. Enable iMessage:

Toggle the switch next to iMessage to the on (green) position.

After enabling iMessage, your phone will attempt to activate

it. This might take a few minutes. You can also customize other iMessage

settings in the same menu, such as Send & Receive options, where you can

choose which phone numbers and email addresses can send and receive iMessages

on your device.

To turn on iMessage, go to Settings > Messages and turn iMessage on.

It's a slider switch. If that's not what you're seeing or (as for me) that doesn't seem to actually work, then there's some other issue at play. You might need to sign out of iCloud and sign in again or restart your device.

It is the same for an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Open the Settings app, tap Messages, tap iMessage to turn it on.

I have to send photos i took of these dogs to the man who hired me.

Because there's something wrong with how your account is configured with your carrier. Call them, ask them to remove MMS and then put it back.
