app for android sevice to detect airtag
I would like to know if there is an app for Android that will allow use of and detection of Apple's airtags?

Bummer. I did find a little something, but it is only regarding detection. I guess an old apple phone or iPad could serve the purpose. I have been curious about dissecting and playing with one anyway.
