Recording V-Drums problems

Ok so I have:

-Macbook pro with latest version of Sonoma

-Latest version of Logic Pro X

-Sonoma supported driver for my Roland TD-27 drum unit

-Latest firmware on my Roland TD-27

-TD-27 connected through USB to my Macbook

Here's the issue:

In Logic I load a new track as Midi & External Midi (I see the TD-27 selected as inout device). Then from the Library I select Drum Kit - Producer Kits - Socal+. So now I have a drum-track where each single drum device has it's own track for recording and editing. I then press the RED R on the master track for Recording, then I press the RED Record dot at the top and start playing the drums. I see the various volume sliders on the various drum components move to the right, so there is input. After I stop recording I can see the various dots and hits so to say of my recording. But when I want to play back the recoding, it remains silent. Even in the Piano roll view, I see all the hits that were recorded but the playback is silent????

And if I copy the recorded hits to a separate software instrument track, then there is audio when I playback that track.....?
