Mobile data notifications

Recently I’ve noticed I’ve been getting a notification when I leave the house, without my data turned on. It simply says ‘mobile data is turned off’. Just out of curiosity does anyone know how to turn this off? Or why this is suddenly a thing. Never had this before in the heads of having an iPhone. Tia

My mobile data wont stop getting used Today and late yesterday I was getting notifications from my mobile data provider (circles) and it was saying i had used up 80% of my mobile data even though i was at home and the mobile data switch was off at the time. Ive been home since and ten minutes ago I got a notification saying I’d used 90% and i checked circles app and it was less than when i got the 80% notification. Very high background mobile data usage a few days a month Reviewing my mobile data usage log, I see an odd pattern. I am using an iPhone 14 Pro fully updated iOS. Every so often, like 2-3 times per month, my mobile data usage will be extremely high (1.5-2GB). Verizon lets you see data usage by day and by time. What is weird is that the huge spikes of data usage—around 1GB in a span of a half hour—occur at times when I was otherwise busy, not using my iPhone at all. Does anyone know of any app that would auto update using mobile data with this pattern? In August it happened on the 2nd, 14th, and 17th. It was always in the late morning around 10-11am local time. I turned off cellular data updates for Photos. Any other suggestions?

When you leave your house you get disconnected from the Home Wi-Fi.

Since your Mobile data is off and you are trying to play some music it needs internet either over WiFI or Cellular.

My music is all download so I don’t need to use wifi or mobile data. This has never come up before so I’m interested as to why it’s suddenly coming up and how to remove these notifications.
