The Files app

Hi, so I was just wondering if I could delete the files app on my phone and then when I redownload it if whatever is stored in the app will still be there.

i have basically been using files as a way to get access stuff from my MacBook on my iPhone as they share the same Apple ID etc. lately since it’s the holidays I wanted to delete the files app just to distance myself from work until the holidays are over.

and as a result of that I wanted to delete the files app temporarily. Will my data still be there when I redownload the app?
