Slider not working on iPad Air 4

My touch screen isn’t working properly. I cannot enter my passcode to open it up.

Try to force restart the iPad: Force restart iPad - Apple Support. This procedure can be tricky the first times you use it. Don’t hesitate to repeat it. You must see the Apple logo to know that the procedure was successful.
