Music: Updating album/artist/album artist not working like before

Something weird's happening with Music since updating to Sonoma.

When trying to sort or organize my songs library, I will select/highlight multiple songs I want to group together by going into "Get Info," then make changes to the album, artist and album artist so everything's sorted accordingly. I'll even update the album artwork myself by going into the Artwork tab.

But whenever I make my changes and then press OK, nothing happens. None of my changes are made; it's as if Music captured none of my edits, and the songs I selected are still spread out individually.
