Shortcut to open a specific folder in the Files app

Continued from Shortcut to open a specific folder in the… - Apple Community

"I've created a new folder in the Files app, and I would like to have a widget or shortcut saved on my home screen that will open that folder directly. It seems as though it should be pretty simple, but I can't seem to figure it out."

I have the same query, as I cannot access a "Folder" option when I long-press on the "File" in the "Open File" action. I suspect I'm missing something simple, but would appreciate any guidance. Thanks!
