2 days after buying Magic Keyboard for ipad not light up

If you already tried (to no avail) all the steps provided at the section "Adjust trackpad settings and keyboard brightness" in this support article:--> Set up and use Magic Keyboard for iPad , since it is brand new and covered by warranty, I suggest that you contact Apple Support directly, using this link:--> Contact Apple for support and service , or make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> https://locate.apple.com/choose-country-region . After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

• Online:--> Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple;
• Contacting a local Apple Store or AASP among the list provided above;
• Using the "Apple Store" app, available and downloadable from AppStore.

The keyboard doesn’t always light up if there is enough ambient light. But you can always check the settings to see if it is turned on and adjust the brightness. To do this Goto Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard but make sure the keyboard is connected to your iPad at the time that you do this or these won’t all show up. In this settings area you should see the brightness slider that you can adjust to choose how bright the lights are. They could also just be too dim for you to see.
