How do you manage two separate music libraries on MacBook Pro? It seems once the new library is created it automatically moves music from the first library to the new one.

According to the directions on how to set up 2 libraries once you get to the 2nd step: create a new library and give it a unique title it creates the new library and no songs are listed and then two seconds later the songs fill up without any movement on my part. The songs are from the original library that exists. I want to create a new library of songs that are not separate from the first library. My husband's songs and my songs two different libraries. Can I manage two separate libraries? I have looked at all of the apple music guides and cannot find an answer. Please help.
