my old iphone just double click home button to see all open apps on my desktop. What do I do with iphone 15 to see all open apps.

How do I get to see all open apps on my homescreen on iphone 15? My old iphone 8 only required two taps of the home key. My new device doesn't have a home key.

Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause mid-screen.

Glad it worked. But you didn’t get rid of any “open” apps, as all of them were suspended. You got rid of apps you have used in the past, and by killing them you slowed down your phone and increased battery consumption. For comparison, I have around 120 apps visible when I view the app switcher.
