I have a 2014 MacBook Air . . Currently on MacOS Big Sur 11.7.10 need to update to Monterey . . . But I cannot figure it out. I try to use update and it says my system is up to date.

Well that explains it. I just bought a new MacBook Air along with Microsoft 365 and was just trying to add that suite of programs to my old MacBook but it wasn’t compatible and now I know why. Thanks for the answer.
