I recently stopped receiving or being able to send SMS messages from iPhone 11; the only thing that fixes it temporarily is to turn airplane mode on and off, then starts working again for a little while (maybe up to 1/2 hour) then stops working again - help
Just tried the reset network settings fix mentioned in a couple of places, seems to be working so far but still too soon to confirm that this is a solution -- will report back
NOPE, did not work -- after about a half hour of non-use, SMS messages again failed to be received or to be able to be sent, only reawakened by turning Airplane Mode on and off. Of course, that is not a fix since most text messages coming in are not pre-announced so, besides being absurdly labor intensive, also defeats the purpose of instant messaging. Any further thoughts???????
