iphone 15 pro has paint flaw on back

My daughter bought a 15 Pro and noticed after one day there was a spot on the back of her blue phone that looked scratched but its smooth, like the rest of the phone. It looks like a flaw to me. We took it back to Verizon and they could not do anything about it. I'm not sure what I am looking for on a fix but it has to be some sort of flaw and was needing to let Apple know. Expensive phone, responsible owner and now a flaw or defect...
