Camera remote stopped working on Apple Watch

It used to work, at some point it disappeared completely from list of apps (although it was present in the appstore) . I did the watch reset , the ison or camera remote is back in the list now, but it is not reacting to pressing , nothing is happening if i click on it. Probably some bug after update . I have watch ultra series 1 and iphone 14 pro max , all on latest update.

after resetting the watch the camera remote reappeared in the common list of app on the watch but not on the list of apps in watch app on the phone and not in the list of available apps for complications shortcuts.

the only other step left is doing full reset of iphone but it is a bit of a headache, that i was hoping to avoid

here on screenshot the app store on my watch is assuming i have it installed and suggesting i can open it but nothing happens if i press OPEN
