log out of apple tv remotely

I need to log out of my Apple TV account remotely.

You may revoke the Apple ID sign-in from the device list, as outlined in this link:

Check your Apple ID device list to find where you're signed in - Apple Support

Removing a device from this list will invalidate the login on that device. Then whenever someone tries to play content for which this login is needed, then the user will be prompted for the password. It will show the email of the Apple ID, though.


For third party apps on an Apple TV box, that may require the devices list for that content provider, as that may not be linked to an Apple ID.


Else ask a caretaker at the remote location to sign you out.

Put “signing out” on your to-do list for leaving for a next time.
