Pages, I need to have a square page 6.5x6.5
I am writing a book. Once I have this, if it is possible, I will probably need to transfer this to a PDF format. It is going to work? Should I use another app?

Pages has File menu : Export To : PDF to get your Pages content to PDF format.
To create a 6.5 x 6.5 in Pages document, you first use File menu : Page Setup… and then click on Paper Size to choose that menus Manage Custom Sizes… Then you click the + symbol to add a new page size entry. Name it 6.5 x 6.5 and enter those dimensions to the right on that panel. Then click OK. You will now be back out at the original Page Setup dialog where you click OK to resize the current Pages document.
