Have the lastest ipad update and my kindle app keeps crashing. It opens for a few seconds and then closes. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

If it only happens using that app, and if you're sure that your Kindle app is updated, try a forced restart of your iPad: put it on charge for at least half an hour, then, keeping it plugged in, use these instructions:

I am having the same issue. I deleted and reinstalled the app and restarted my iPad. It’s still crashing

Just downloaded a book on my iPhone and now the app is crashing. This is horrible!
Same. It’s only happening with my iPad though. The app works fine on my Android phone.

Just noticed this on my iPhone now too on January 3. Deleted the app and hoping that Amazon will release an update that fixes this soon.
This has happened to my devices as well.
i hope they fix it fast. I have a 200+ day reading streak on the line!!!
