Combine files into a PDF on Mac

Mac book pro (Apple M1 Pro 2021) "Create PDF" tool available from Quick Actions does not work at all/

I select a file, then click on "Create PDF", and... that's it. The PDF is not created.

Are some of you having the same type of issue?

If so, were you able to fix it?

Thanks for your reply.

What type of file are you selecting?

The Create PDF QA works on one or more selected images or PDFs — unless the selected image is an unsupported camera RAW file. When the conversion is complete, the resulting file is named for the first selection with an appended 2 in the filename.

With those file type caveats, it works fine for me on macOS Sonoma 14.2.1.
